I am writing a piece on inside/outside spaces. While searching through some images I came across this one. It’s a traditional look, with mixed materials which are bang on trend for 2017 wood, brass ( which will replace copper) the colour Green in this case provided by the topiary ( jade will be a colour you will see a lot more of in 2017/18) I particularly like the way the stylist has used these trends in the way he/ she has dressed the table. The birdcage lighting is a fun but interesting look, with a nod to the outdoors. The tailored form of the topiary stands majestic against the natural materials of the traditional interior. I could not see the name of the stylist which is a shame! Such a good job of creating the story inside to compliment the outside!

I have just recieved this lovely letter from a client!

You have barely left the grounds, Annie, but I want to say a very big thank you for the way in which you handled my reticence to be bold on the colour front.

It is hugely reassuring to have someone creative and affable to guide me through this process of creating a comfortable retreat and although I am in awe of your talent I remain immensely grateful to you.
